|We left before the dust had time to settle, and all the broken glass swept off the avenue...

Swamped with homework. Freezing in soccer. Delayed school today due to ice, FISD robbed us. People are stealing my words, literally. I'm writing a fairy tale:). I want to light a candle. Greek Gods are amusing.
"What is there about fire that's so lovely? No matter what age we are, what draws us to it?...It's perpetual motion; the thing man wanted to invent but never did. Or almost perpetual motion. If you let it go on, it'd burn our lifetimes out. What is fire? It's a mystery. Scientist give us gobbledegook about friction and molecules. But they don't really know. Its real beauty is that it destroys responsibility and consequences. A problem gets to burdensome, then into the furnace with it...Antibiotic, aesthetic, practical."
Today, on the news, a truck was caught on fire after sliding on the ice and crashing. I stared at the screen for five straight minutes watching the flames burn through the truck. It was hypnotising. I had a moment.
( And on the way home held your camera like a Bible...Collapse )
